Practical Fitness Tips!

  1. Over training
Some physical effects of overtraining can include increased resting heart rate, decreased appetite, restless legs and dehydration.
  1. Light weights
When beginning any new fitness program, start with light weights until you are comfortable with the form for each exercise.
  1. 10-12 Repititions
Beginners should start with 10–12 repetitions. To progress, add a second set for each exercise.
  1. 24 Hours
Allow at least 24 hours between strength training workouts to allow the body to recover.
  1. Hot shower

  1. Muscle soreness
Muscle soreness is common 24–48 hours after a strength training workout. Stretching can help reduce soreness.

You don’t need a meditation cushion or bench, or any sort of special equipment to access your mindfulness skills but you do need to set aside time and space.

8.Let your judgments roll by
When we notice any judgmental thoughts during our practice, we can make a mental note of them, and let them pass.

9.Return to observing

Our minds often get carried away in thought. That’s why mindfulness includes the practice of returning, again and again, to the present moment.

10.Be kind to your wandering mind
Don’t judge yourself for whatever thoughts crop up, just practice recognizing when your mind has wandered off, and gently bring it back.
